It seems sound to me, but perhaps I’m wrong. τῷ governs the infinitive διψῆν. — Something like, “Drinking to violence is the same as thirsting for evil.”
You’re right. I changed the post. I don’t know why that wasn’t connecting in my brain. Maybe I should have been doing more ‘thirsting’….
