Aesop, You Dirty Dog!

“The young female slave asked, ‘So you’re the new slave?’ Aesop responded, ‘I am.’ The young woman then asked, ‘Well, where is your tail?’ Aesop looked at her and, knowing that she was making a joke about his dog face, said, ‘Ah, my tail is not, as you imagine, behind me – I have it here up front!’”
