“Or do you not perceive that all men who live upon the earth will be set upon by irresistible, destructive Fate, who cares not about the gods, and who alone has such great power?”

῏Η οὐκ ἀίεις ὅτι πάντας ὅσοι χθονὶ ναιετάουσιν
ἀνθρώπους ὀλοὴ περιπέπταται ἄσχετος Αἶσα
οὐδὲ θεῶν ἀλέγουσα, τόσον σθένος ἔλλαχε μούνη;
